Geoffrey G. Gaia
Geoffrey Gaia received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Memphis State University in 1989. He also received his Juris Doctor degree from Memphis State in 1994 and was admitted to practice in 1995.
From 1995 until 2012, Mr. Gaia practiced at McWhirter & Wyatt, a firm with a Martindale Hubbell rating of AV, where his practice was focused on insurance defense, premises liability, general liability and workers’ compensation. He has also litigated EEOC employment discrimination matters in federal court. He has experience in wrongful death, personal injury, uninsured motorist, corporate and subrogation claims. Mr. Gaia is admitted to practice in Tennessee state and federal courts as well as the Sixth and Eighth Circuit Courts of Appeals. Martindale Hubbell rating service has assigned him a rating of BV. Mr. Gaia is a member of the Memphis and Tennessee Bar Associations.

Mr. Gaia is devoted to his church and service in the community. He is active in the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic men's charitable and service organization, and has been the president of Knights of Columbus, Council 5062, Inc. since 2008. He was previously president from 2000 to 2004 and was named Knight of the Year in 2001. Mr. Gaia is a communicant at St. Paul Catholic Church and has been president of the parish council since 2012. Mr. Gaia has been a member of the parish finance committee since 2008, and secretary of the St. Paul School Board since 2013.
