Sonia N. Merchant received her Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002, and a Juris Doctor degree in 2007 from Baylor Law School. While attending Baylor Law School, Ms. Merchant served as Vice President of the Women’s Legal Society, and did a Judicial Externship with the Honorable Judge Alan Mayfield at the Family Law and Juvenile Justice Center in Waco, Texas.

During her summers at Baylor Law School, Ms. Merchant undertook coursework in International Law in Guadalajara, Mexico, and London, England, and worked as a summer associate at the law firm of Thakker & Thakker in Mumbai, India, doing transactional work for multinational clients investing in India.

In October 2007, Ms. Merchant joined the law firm of Wolff Ardis, P.C., where she practices in the areas of Products Liability and General Civil Litigation.
