Sharon L. Petty

Sharon L. Petty received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Arkansas State University in 1983 and a Juris Doctor degree in May of 1986 from Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at the University of Memphis. While attending the University of Memphis, Ms. Petty was a member of the Moot Court Board and Phi Delta Phi legal fraternity. She also competed in Freshman and Advanced Moot Court Competitions.

From 1985 to 1987, Ms. Petty clerked for the Honorable Robert L. Childers of the Shebly County (Tennessee) Circuit Court. Following her clerkship, Ms. Petty became associated with a general practice law firm in Memphis where she remained until 1995. From 1995 until 1997, Ms. Petty was in private practice. In January of 1997, Ms. Petty joined the firm of Wolff Ardis, P.C.

Ms. Petty's legal practice areas include contract disputes, securities fraud litigation and arbitration, products liability, audit malpractice. legal malpractice, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, employment law, wrongful death, premises liability, business torts, environmental law, general corporate and commercial law, and business transactutal work.
